Position Overview The Commercial Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new and existing commercial and residential banking relationships. This is a true "jack of all trades" role suited for a well-rounded and proactive lender who excels at generating new business and cross-selling a wide array of banking solutions, including commercial loans, residential loans, deposits, treasury services, and more.

Responsibilities

Proactively originate and close new commercial loans, residential loans, and deposit relationships

Achieve and exceed annual loan production goals of $15M+

Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, real estate professionals, and centers of influence in the Austin market

Conduct credit analysis and structure loan packages to meet client needs while adhering to credit policy

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction

Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities

Represent the bank at community and networking events to promote brand visibility and business growth

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential lending, preferably in a community banking environment

Proven track record of bringing in new loan and deposit relationships

Strong credit skills and ability to structure deals

Deep knowledge of the Austin market and strong local business network

Excellent interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills

Self-motivated with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial drive

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred)
