Ocean Freight Manager
for the Los Angeles region. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of ocean freight operations across the Western U.S., leading a high-performing team while ensuring service excellence, compliance, and financial success. Base pay
$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation
Annual Bonus Responsibilities
Lead and develop a regional team of 20+ professionals. Oversee end-to-end ocean freight operations with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Monitor and control key financial metrics (DPO, DSO, cost accuracy). Partner with sales and procurement to drive pricing strategy and market growth. Use data and reporting to improve processes, performance, and service delivery. Serve as the subject matter expert in customer meetings and escalations. Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in ocean freight or international logistics. 3–5 years in a management role with multi-site team leadership. Strong operational, analytical, and financial management skills. Expertise in shipping documentation, Incoterms, and regulatory compliance. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience. Why join
