Job Title Maintenance Supervisor, Multifamily
Job Description Summary The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes ensuring quality move-in processes, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention to residents.
The Maintenance Supervisor responds to resident service requests and plays a key role in helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service.
Essential Job Duties
Prepare all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping.
Complete resident service requests promptly.
Possess knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety.
Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, ensuring they are clean and safe.
Perform on-call emergency procedures as needed.
Report maintenance issues affecting budget, safety, property damages, or common areas to the manager.
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, keeping records of activities.
Be knowledgeable of housing laws, codes, policies, and systems related to maintenance.
Attend training programs as required.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
Competencies
Ability to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday.
Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to interpret data and prepare graphs.
Valid Driver's License required.
Certifications: CPO (if required), EPA 608 Type II minimum.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma, GED, or vocational training.
At least 3 years of related experience.
EPA 608 Type II or CPO certification required.
Work Environment Work is performed in a professional office environment with travel between properties, often in varying weather conditions.
Physical Demands Must be able to stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, and lift objects up to 100 pounds as needed. Travel up to 10% may be required.
