Business Development Associate – Commercial Construction Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $55,000–$65,000 base salary; Total Compensation: $70,000–$90,000+ with performance-based bonus of up to 10% of salary About The Role

We’re looking for a driven, curious, and relationship-focused Business Development Associate to help grow one of the most respected commercial contractors in Texas. You’ll be part of a team that works hard, supports one another, and takes pride in doing things the right way. This is not a remote role. You’ll be on the ground, building real relationships and driving sales activity through events, campaigns, lead generation, and good old-fashioned hustle. If you enjoy connecting with people, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced, high-integrity team—you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Do

Identify and develop relationships with potential customers and partners Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and project opportunities Generate outbound activity through research, email, and phone outreach Qualify inbound leads and help accelerate the sales cycle Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences Communicate the company’s value and offerings clearly and professionally Collaborate with marketing to develop and support campaigns and events Track activity and manage leads using CRM and reporting tools Assist with presentations, proposals, and quote preparation Support fulfillment of marketing materials and project documentation Handle other duties as needed in support of the sales and marketing team What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree 1–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role Strong communication skills—verbal and written Professional, organized, and proactive with a high level of integrity Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently Skilled in MS Office and CRM/sales support tools Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors, and occasionally climbing ladders or scaffolding Willingness to travel to training events or regional functions as needed This role is not remote Who You Are
