Job Description Performs diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with policies, values and mission of the organization. Responsible for commonly performed echocardiography procedures with consistent proficiency.
Two dimensional transthoracic echocardiograms
Exercise/dobutamine stress echocardiograms
Agitated saline (bubble) studies
UEA (ultrasound enhancing agent) echocardiograms
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program
RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer
AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification
BLS (AHA)
