How You’ll Contribute As a Construction Superintendent, you will help us reach our strategic growth goals by supervising all phases of the construction project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising on-site trade employee activities during all phases of the construction project.

Adhere to the project schedule effectively.

Communicate with the project manager, architect, engineer, and other team members to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.

Monitor and enforce safety program requirements, ensuring corrective measures are implemented.

Maintain positive client relationships.

Attend and/or conduct project status and related meetings as required or requested.

Assist in estimating, review of subcontractor and material proposals, and development of the master schedule.

Assist in reviewing shop drawings for key materials and finalizing as-builts, turnovers, and walk-throughs for equipment and materials.

Requirements This full-time position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management

OR

an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. A minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent is required. Computer skills are essential. Strong management and communication skills are necessary. An advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and supervision of large groups is critical. Experience with government and large projects is preferred. Diverse project experience is important. Travel may be required. A valid driver’s license must be maintained.
