
Overview
Experienced Commercial Superintendent with willingness to travel to project sites and manage work at the build site. Primary focus is Big Box Retail projects, including remodels and new ground-up work. Responsibilities
Lead on commercial construction projects (retail remodels and new builds). Travel to and stay at project sites as required; working location within a 6-7 hour drive of home base. Collaborate closely with the project team and PM; emphasize teamwork and avoiding a lone-wolf approach. Ensure computer-savvy communication with clients/owners (large retail stores) and maintain project documentation. Coordinate with project management and other stakeholders to maintain schedule and quality. Qualifications
College degree preferred (construction and/or business background). Experience in commercial construction; adept with large retail projects. Mid-Senior level experience acceptable; full-time role. Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 annually. Additional weekly compensation for travelers: $20,000 – $25,000 annually. Per diem for meals on site: approximately $50 per day (non-taxable). Truck allowance provided. Full benefits package. Housing costs covered 100% (hotel, Airbnb); housing arrangement not shared with multiple people. Client cover costs of return home (airfare/travel) twice a month. Location
