
Construction Superintendent (Travel)

This is a statewide traveling role through Texas.
About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up, multi-story commercial construction projects. Projects involve steel and concrete construction with elevators. While storage facility experience is preferred, it is not required, but strongly preferred—strong leadership on multi-story commercial projects is the key.
Our Client builds across a variety of projects for public, private, and military clients, including schools, commercial developments, retail developments, hospitals, and self-storage facilities. Experience in these fields are strongly preferred.
Travel will be limited to Texas.
What You’ll Do:
Lead day-to-day field operations on multiple projects independently, without the support of an Assistant Superintendent
Manage subcontractors and trade partners to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance
Conduct project meetings and maintain all field documentation
Coordinate with the project team using Red Team or similar PM software; schedule using MS Project
Work across a variety of projects for public, private, and military clients, including schools, commercial developments, retail developments, hospitals, and self-storage facilities
Qualifications:
Proven experience on multi-story commercial projects (steel/concrete/elevator)
Experience in projects like schools, commercial developments, retail developments, hospitals, and self-storage facilities strongly preferred
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with storage facility construction is highly preferred
Comfortable running the field independently, without relying on support roles
