Overview Be part of a team that prepares fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will help wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items available. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while assisting members with bakery orders. A friendly, helpful attitude can make the shopping experience excellent for our members.
What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and seasonal productions; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make immediate decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage inventory and quality; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure date control standards and reduce waste; assist customers according to company policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; maintain energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in daily work.
Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; seek improvements and adapt to change.

Responsibilities and expectations
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area; ensure quality products are available in the prepared foods area.
Maintain shelves, temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality products.
Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food; assist with claims, returns, and merchandising organization.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete required trainings and assessments if offered the position.
Preferred Qualifications: Food Service experience; Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
