Job Description
The Relationship Banker plays a vital role in fostering client relationships by proactively identifying opportunities and referrals that benefit new and existing clients. By consistently delivering outstanding service and meaningful recommendations, the Relationship Banker helps strengthen customer loyalty and significantly contributes to the success of the banking center. Provide high level customer service to both new and existing clients by understanding each client’s unique financial needs. Develop trust with clients by understanding their financial needs and goals, offering tailored solutions, and recommending appropriate products and services. Ensure that all activities adhere to regulatory requirements, bank policies, and procedures. Maintain confidentiality by following all safety and risk management protocols. Recognize opportunities to cross-sell bank products based on the client’s financial profile. Guide clients through the process of opening various deposit accounts, as well as facilitating and closing both consumer and real estate loans. Refer clients to service partners or other specialists when appropriate. Actively reach out to existing and potential clients to introduce new products or services, keeping them engaged with relevant bank offerings. Handle ongoing account upkeep, including updating client information, assisting with account changes, monitoring for suspicious activity, and helping clients with adjustments as needed. Assist with balance and account inquiries, resetting passwords, transfers, resolving issues, and participating in bank center opening and closings. Perform other duties as assigned by MC Bank. Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED. 1‑3 years or more experience in banking or a similar role. Experience with 10‑key, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy. Professional appearance and courteous manner. Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
