is currently hiring a full-time Injury Prevention-WorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an
athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, PTA, COTA , or individual of a similar background. This is an onsite contract with a large airline at LAX. FT staff of 7 Certified Athletic Trainers with additional PRN Athletic Trainers. Center operates 7 days/wk. and operates as a half fitness, half OSHA First Aid location for all employees of the airline. We just moved into a brand new, roughly 2000 sq. ft. facility with additional spaces in the works.This program is well established (10 years+) and supported by all stakeholders. Patient population is diverse ranging in age from 18-65 years old+. Various demographics and athletic/physical abilities. OSHA mandated First Aid care can range from musculoskeletal issues to general medical conditions, to acute trauma. There are also multiple preventative programs that have been developed and maintained onsite by our Injury Prevention Team that are ongoing and that the candidate will support as able. The full-time WorkStrategies Specialist will also perform one day a week at the busy, 4000sq. Ft. Select-Los Angeles PT Clinic performing testing and assisting with operations. The candidate will directly report to the Site Supervisor, with additional assistance from the AT Leads as needed. 1-2 years of Outpatient experience is recommended due to the complexity and volume of cases seen at both sites.Ability to cross-train and support additional onsite contracts and/or WorkStrategies opportunities in the Southern CA area are also a possibility.Come and join our dynamic, progressive, and growing team at LAX and Select LA.

Responsibilities
On-site coverage for industrial client under the direction of the Account/Program Manager
Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
Job coaching and behavior modification, both 1:1 and in group settings
Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
Office ergonomics
Health and wellness consultation
Document and report on employee encounters
Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
Minimum one year of experience
CPR certification
Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
State Licensure in good standing (ATC, PTA, COTA, or Exercise Physiologist)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an industrial setting
