Job Summary Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge is seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in providing quality dining experiences for our lodge guests, golfers, and park visitors. The Line Cook will prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with lodge recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards.
Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Safely operate kitchen equipment, grills, and cooking utensils.
Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages or needs to leadership.
Assist with kitchen organization, cleaning duties, and closing procedures.
Work collaboratively with the culinary and service teams to ensure timely service for guests and events.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar kitchen role preferred.
Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
