Project Portfolio Lead
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has embarked on a digital transformational journey that will dramatically change how work is performed. As part of the Aeronautics transformation, Sustainment is seeking a qualified candidate for a Project Portfolio Lead.
What You Will Be Doing: The Project Portfolio Lead will be responsible for the following:
Mange baseline budget, schedule, and scope for a varied investment portfolio
Drive planning and execution across Cross functional Teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
Partner with Sustainment Capability Delivery System Directorates to align and prioritize investments with strategic objectives and customer needs
Report portfolio performance at all leadership levels
Collaborate with Sustainment Finance on forecasting and performance reporting
Provide PM guidance to the portfolio investment teams to support planning and execution
Manage/Mitigate portfolio risk and opportunities
Monitor portfolio performance to include labor reporting and vendor invoicing
Facilitate PO process and act as technical lead on IWTAs
Provide Oversight of Technical Solution Formulation and Implementation, Leveraging Systems Engineering Best Practices
The ideal candidate will have experience managing or overseeing business-critical programs or projects and have a demonstrated history of high accountability, responsibility, and organization.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
Program or Project management experience (e.g. cost/budgeting, schedule, risk evaluation/mitigation)
Experience in financial management, metrics and process management
Demonstrated collaboration and teaming skills at all levels of the organization and work experience developing effective stakeholder and partner relationships
Systems Engineering, Product Development, or Project Engineering experience
Desired Skills:
Team Leadership Experience
Experience in Earned Valued Management, CAM certification a plus
Change Management Experience
Sustainment Operations Experience
Greenbelt/Blackbelt Certification
Investment Business Case and/or ROI Experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
