Responsibilities Develops, plans & schedules proposals in accordance with estimating policy, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, USG Business System Requirements & other government regulations. Shapes, develops & matures business case analyses & cost methods resulting in a comprehensive bid/price strategy. Develops initiatives to increase profitability & cash flow. Acts as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule & technical elements into development proposals in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinates the collection of cost, scheduling & performance elements from functional departments. Performs financial modeling & analyses related to major proposals, including rate studies & analysis, business case development, cash flow analysis, NPV & IRR, and presents analyses & recommendations to leaders. Researches & analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts & determine the accuracy of functional estimates. Participates in should‑cost & pricing reviews with management & customer reps. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team & interacts with DCAA and other audit agencies. Initiates process improvements to enhance productivity & efficiency within pricing & estimating functions. May provide day‑to‑day direction & guidance to less senior Proposal Analysts. Develops, communicates, & implements Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, and conducts monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are being thoroughly & consistently implemented. Possesses comprehensive written & oral communication skills to support proposal development activities, executive proposal reviews, fact‑finding & negotiations, and interaction with DCAA or other audit agencies.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 1+ year(s) experience in any related field

Work Arrangement Onsite Full‑time: The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to its employees. Standard 40‑hour week over five days with the possibility of condensed schedules for additional time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits. 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
