Executive Assistant - Communications, City of Mequon The Opportunity Are you passionate about people, processes, and making a positive impact? The City of Mequon is seeking an experienced detail-oriented Deputy Clerk – Clerk Focus to play a vital role in our organization. In this full-time position, you will take the lead on the administrative operations of the City Clerk’s Office and serve in a support role with the City Clerk and Deputy Clerk – Election Focus on administration of all governmental elections. What You Will Do

Administer all regulatory licensing per state statute and local ordinances.

Facilitate the review and approval process for agendas, packets and minutes for various boards, committees and commissions.

Under the supervision of the City Clerk, assists with the administration of all governmental elections within City limits in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Ability to attend Council, Board, Committee and Commission meetings in the absence of the City Clerk.

What We Are Looking For

Five (5) or more years of experience performing responsible clerical/administrative work in a government setting; high school diploma plus a two- or four-year degree from an accredited college business or technical school is preferred, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.

Ability to use computer and transcription equipment to access, retrieve and record information using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, the Internet and other standard office equipment.

Ability to use or learn to use the WisVote database to its full potential.

Benefits Available To You Current salary range: $50,251 - $67,839. Starting salary: $50,251 - $54,019+/- DOQ. The City offers a competitive benefits package that includes:
