Bi‑Vocational Pastor – Moraine City Baptist Church
Moraine City Baptist Church (MCBC) is a Southern Baptist church located in a blue‑collar suburb of greater Dayton, Ohio. MCBC is a multi‑generational church dedicated to worshiping and serving the Lord. It is affiliated with the Greater Dayton Association of Baptists, the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Its average attendance is about fifty people in Sunday service and thirty in Sunday School, primarily composed of retired members. MCBC offers great opportunities for growth both in attendance and in spiritual depth.
Expectations & Duties MCBC’s expectations for the bi‑vocational pastor are that he must be compliant with The Baptist Faith & Message, amended June 14, 2023, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Lead the church to proclaim and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the application of the Bible.
Oversee church programs and develop church leaders and volunteers to further spread the Word of God and increase attendance and membership.
Perform weddings, funerals, pastoral counseling and be available to visit attendees and members outside the church in homes, hospitals, and offer support services.
Hours and Salary Experience and personal availability will determine the hours and salary.
Worship Pastor – Scottsville Baptist Church Scottsville Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Worship Pastor who will join our work to grow God’s Kingdom, feed our congregation, and serve our community through music ministry. The successful candidate will be grounded in God’s Word with a passion for leading Christ‑centered worship. The Worship Pastor will work with the Senior Pastor to inspire our church through heartfelt worship and directly oversee the worship budget.
