What you will do:

This position is responsible for managing and settling a high volume of insurance claims within assigned authority, operating independently with minimal supervision. The role requires extensive interaction with insured individuals, their legal representatives, and customer agents, as well as occasional contact with law enforcement officials. Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting reports within specified time frames in accordance with the Claims Technical Manual and supervisory requirements. The position also involves performing additional duties as assigned and ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.

Extensive personal contact with insureds, their legal representatives, and customer agents. Occasional contact with law enforcement officials may be required.

Operate independently with limited supervision in handling and settling a high volume of claims within assigned authority.

Submit reports within specified time frames as required by the Claims Technical Manual or per supervisor or manager.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience:

3‑4 years adjusting experience in first‑party property line of business (personal and commercial) preferred.

Salary Range:

$68,321–$89,000

The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range will take into consideration the individual’s work experience, geographic location, education, certification(s) or additional qualifications, and scope and responsibilities within the role.
