Exposure to an agency's culture, process, procedures, and potential learning opportunities can provide valuable experience to those who may seek permanent employment with the state.****This temporary position is located in Black Mountain, NC - Buncombe County.****Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $137.79 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).**This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services This position is located at 201 Tabernacle Road., Black Mountain, NC 28711This is professional psychiatric work providing direct patient care involving provision of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment services to an assigned patient caseload within the facilities and programs of state or local agencies.**This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). For more information on Health Benefits offered visit** **.*** Thorough knowledge of biological, social, and psychological developmental processes at all ages.* Thorough knowledge of the practice and theories of the medical specialty or subspecialty to which is assigned to a wide range of medical, behavioral, and psychological disorders.* Skill in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.* Ability to assess and interpret laboratory results, clinical data and information relative to the patient’s condition.* Ability to compile clear and concise notes for patient's charts and to make oral presentations of cases in medical conferences.* Ability to supervise and guide work performance of psychiatric residents and fellows.* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associate personnel, patients, and their families, and the public.- Thorough knowledge of psychiatric theory, principles, and techniques, and practices of general, preventive medicine and of the techniques involved in the field of mental health. #J-18808-Ljbffr
