Day‑to‑day as an Inside Sales Representative As a Full‑Time Inside Sales Representative at NICOR INC, you will play a vital role in supporting sales efforts through a range of responsibilities that ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

Communicate daily with the Sales Department regarding customer requests, inquiries, and order status updates.

Utilize NICOR's Enterprise Resource System (SHIMS) to process orders and inquiries.

Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner.

Interpret customer requests to identify and address underlying business needs.

Provide solutions to customer inquiries related to products, shipping, and accounts.

Prepare and deliver accurate product pricing quotes for customer projects as required.

Promote upselling opportunities: actively communicate, support, and drive adoption of sales promotions.

Provide timely and effective follow‑up on sales calls, customer inquiries, and orders.

Maintain a high level of customer service and support by responding promptly and efficiently to Distributor Partners, Sales Agents, and end‑users via phone, email, and other communication channels.
