Position Summary
The Solar Energy Sales Manager at ProSolar Puerto Rico is responsible for leading and executing the company’s sales strategy, driving the sale of residential and commercial solar photovoltaic systems throughout Puerto Rico. This role is critical to the company’s sustainable growth and to strengthening ProSolar’s position as a leader in renewable energy on the island.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with ProSolar Puerto Rico’s business objectives.
Lead, supervise, and develop the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Establish sales targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure monthly and annual goals are achieved.
Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through closing and post-sale follow-up.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, corporate policies, and ProSolar quality standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, strategic partners, and business allies.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and installation teams to ensure proper project execution.
Analyze solar market trends in Puerto Rico, including incentives, regulations, and competitor activity.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance results to executive management.
Requirements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in solar energy, renewable energy, construction, or technical services.
Proven experience leading and managing sales teams.
Knowledge of the Puerto Rico solar market, including financing options, interconnection processes, incentives, and local regulations (preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools (e.g. Zoho, or similar).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Puerto Rico.
