Job Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls to address delinquent accounts and establish payment arrangements
Negotiate payment plans with members and communicate updates to the credit union
Assist members with inquiries regarding account balances and payment issues
Maintain positive relationships with members and credit union representatives
Participate in training on collections and related regulations
Required Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent is required
Credit Union or Banking Collections experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and good problem‑solving skills
Ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy and respect
Preferred Qualifications:
Bi‑lingual/Spanish speaking preferred
Experience in a customer service or collections role within the financial services industry
