is seeking a

detail-oriented Post-Closing Legal Assistant

to support our real estate post-closing operations. This is an

entry-level to mid-level support role

focused on document processing, file organization, and follow-up tasks after settlement. The Post-Closing Legal Assistant works under the direction of attorneys and paralegals and plays a key role in ensuring post-closing files are accurate, complete, and properly closed in accordance with lender, title, and firm requirements. $30,000–$40,000

Assist attorneys during real estate transactions and post-closing matters. Process, review, and scan lender post-closing packages. Assist with assembling and delivering buyer post-closing physical packages. Scan, upload, and properly index digital files related to closed transactions. Prepare, generate, and issue title insurance policies, including required endorsements, under supervision. Prepare, review, and timely distribute title insurance policies and recorded documents to lenders and other required parties. Record documents electronically with the Register of Deeds, as directed. Assist with post-closing issues and claims by gathering documentation and coordinating follow‑ups, including missing payments, recording errors, policy corrections, and endorsement additions. Follow up with lenders to obtain satisfactions and ensure they are properly recorded. Confirm that identification documents and compliance materials are complete and accurately filed. Close and archive files in accordance with firm policies and retention requirements. Maintain organized electronic and physical files to ensure efficient retrieval and audit readiness. Follow up with clients to request Google reviews and post-closing feedback, as directed. Support attorneys and paralegals with additional post-closing administrative or transactional tasks as needed. Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience

in post-closing real estate transactions (law firm, title company, or settlement environment). Demonstrated ability to manage post-closing files independently from settlement through final closure. Strong knowledge of title insurance, endorsements, recording requirements, satisfactions, and lender post-closing conditions. Experience with

Qualia or similar real estate closing software is a plus! Familiarity with lender post-closing workflows, payoff processing, and wire confirmations. Knowledge of Delaware recording procedures and compliance requirements preferred. Proven ability to manage deadlines, multiple files, and issue resolution in a fast‑paced environment. Success in this role means post-closing files are

accurate, complete, and timely , with documents properly recorded, title policies issued without errors, and files closed in compliance with lender and firm requirements. The Post-Closing Legal Assistant consistently follows established workflows, proactively flags issues, and supports attorneys and paralegals in resolving post-closing matters efficiently, resulting in minimal follow-up issues and a smooth client experience.
