The Escrow Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the escrow team while also assisting with business development initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn the escrow process, support client relationships, and grow into a future Escrow Closer role.
Essential Duties
Accurately enter and manage new escrow orders in a timely manner
Process and track Earnest Money (EM) deposits in compliance with procedures
Coordinate and manage document and package deliveries
Review and process final water bills to ensure accurate settlement
Facilitate in-person (sit-down) closings with professionalism and attention to detail
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
Monitor, prioritize, and respond to the Escrow Information inbox
Learn and support refinance transactions
Provide administrative and transactional support to Escrow Officers
Demonstrate continuous growth and development with the goal of advancing into an Escrow Closer role
Qualifications
Previous title experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent organizational skills (attention to detail)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work with confidential information and data
Knowledge of office equipment (computers, fax machines, printers, telephone systems and calculators)
