Finley Golf Club is located right off the campus of UNC in Chapel Hill, NC. Both Men's and Women's golf teams call Finley their home with a 18 hole course and 20 acre dual practice facility.
Course Overview The course and new team practice facility underwent renovations in 2022/2023 including TifEagle Greens, Bunker solutions install, irrigation, new USGA Spec greens, 2 additional holes with multiple hole layout changes, additional tees, and one 007 XL bentgrass PG. On the course the fairways are 419, Tees are a mix of 419 and Zeon Zoysia, Collars are Tahoma 31, approaches are a mix of 419 and Tahoma 31, and the rough is predominantly 419. All irrigation is Toro Infinity heads with HDPE piping throughout the course with Toro Lynx powering it all. The equipment fleet is mostly on a 4 year lease (entering year 3) and all Toro other than the tractors.

Rebuild PG and #10 Black Tee due to utility work in MAR-APR 26
Renovate Tees and Approaches every summer (3-6 holes at a time)

April 2026 Men's Tarheel Intercollegiate (Men’s College Event)
May 2026 NCAA Regional National Championship (Women’s College event)
June 2026 PGA First Tee National Championship (Youth Golf Event)
October 2026 Ruth Chris Invitational (Women’s College Event)

Must possess a valid driver’s license
