Possess strong writing skills, including the ability to master tease writing.
Use sound editorial judgment and attention to detail to ensure standards are met.
Interact with viewers and users on social media sites.
Responsible for producing segments from start to finish, including scripts, ordering of elements, and guest pre-interviews.
Position Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in line producing. Schedule is Wed-Sun. Ability to work varying shifts including early mornings and weekends. Must have control room experience. Must have editorial experience working with live TV national or large market news. Must have breaking news experience. Must be able to think and react quickly. Ability to produce content under heavy deadline pressure. Capability to collect and analyze information accurately. Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field. Excellent writing and verbal skills are required. Strong organizational skills required. Competitive salary - $90k to $110k dependent on skills and relevant experience.
