O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable civil engineering firm to find their next Civil CAD Drafter – AutoCAD Civil 3D. This position is based in a professional civil engineering office environment and is a short-term, full-time assignment.
The ideal Civil CAD Drafter – AutoCAD Civil 3D is detail-oriented, experienced, and able to step in quickly to support ongoing civil projects during a peak workload period.
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Temporary, full-time
Duration: 4 to 6 weeks
Hours: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Assist with grading, alignments, profiles, and surface modeling
Draft site plans, utility layouts, and construction documents
Accurately incorporate redlines and engineering markups
Maintain drafting standards and ensure drawing consistency
Coordinate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines
Proven experience as a Civil CAD Drafter within a civil engineering environment
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
Experience with civil site development, grading, and utility drawings
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
Prior experience in a fast-paced or deadline-driven setting preferred
