We are seeking a motivated
Civil Land Development Designer
to support the design and development of land and site civil engineering projects in the Las Vegas market. This role is ideal for an
Engineer in Training (EIT) / Engineering Intern (EI)
who is eager to grow their skills in
grading, drainage, and site layout design
while working closely with senior staff and Project Managers. You will assist in preparing engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation, and gain hands-on experience supporting project execution from early site planning through permitting and construction design. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including
grading, drainage, and site layout , under the guidance of senior staff and the Project Manager.
Prepare
technical documents, drawings, and calculations
to support design packages and project deliverables.
Conduct
site assessments
and gather field data to support engineering analysis and design decisions.
Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure project
specifications, standards, and schedules
are met.
Support the preparation of
reports, presentations, and permit application materials .
Participate in internal reviews and coordinate updates to drawings and design documents as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Engineer in Training (EIT)
/
Engineering Intern (EI)
certification required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Civil Engineering .
Familiarity with civil engineering design tools such as
AutoCAD and Civil 3D
is a plus.
Strong understanding of civil engineering fundamentals and design principles.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with a strong desire to grow within civil land development.
Must be a
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (valid green card), or otherwise legally authorized to work in the U.S.
