What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a Supplier Relationship Manager within our Corpay Payables division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic supplier relationships to drive payment acceptance, retention, monetization, and growth across Corpay’s payment products. You will report directly to VP and regularly collaborate with Relationship Management, Account Management, Product, Risk, Payment Operations, and Implementation teams.
How We Work As a Supplier Relationship Manager, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
Assigned workspace in remote office
Formal, hands‑on training
Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include:
Nurturing, owning, and deepening supplier relationships while serving as a primary liaison between suppliers, clients, and internal teams
Building and maintaining professional relationships through consistent networking with customer suppliers
Establishing and managing relationships with supplier stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C‑level contacts
Understanding supplier business workflows and identifying payment‑related pain points
Performing supplier audits and actively reviewing supplier monetization performance
Reinforcing Corpay’s value proposition while partnering on creative value‑based payment solutions
Retaining supplier monetization while identifying and securing cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities
Analyzing financial performance including interchange rates, rebate structures, and revenue impact
Developing and monitoring supplier financial health through renewal planning, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and profitability analysis
Conducting supplier segmentation analysis based on risk, monetization, and strategic value
Increasing transaction monetization through proactive supplier engagement initiatives
Addressing card retention challenges by developing playbooks for downgrades and high‑risk suppliers
Improving customer and supplier satisfaction by reducing vendor outreach and payment friction
Partnering with Relationship Management teams to drive supplier acceptance strategies
Co‑de‑developing fraud mitigation messaging to position Corpay as a trusted, value‑added partner
Leveraging fraud prevention outcomes as valued drivers for supplier and client engagement
Monitoring payment flows while identifying friction points and recommending operational or product improvements
Coordinating cross‑functional efforts to ensure superior service delivery and issue resolution
Maintaining industry expertise across FinTech, payments, and supplier ecosystems
Preparing for and leading supplier business reviews, sharing best practices and industry insights
Building and maintaining collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Proven experience in supplier relationship management, vendor management, payments, or FinTech
Strong understanding of corporate payments, virtual cards, purchasing cards, or A/P automation
Demonstrated financial acumen with experience analyzing revenue, interchange, and profitability
Experience negotiating contracts and managing renewals
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills

The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $80,000-$83,000 plus uncapped commissions.
