National Sales Executive Reporting to the Chain Sales Manager, the National Sales Executive will drive performance at designated national accounts for the Kroger business. The role involves strategic planning, selling, and profit‑oriented account management to build value‑enhancing relationships with retailers.

Responsibilities

Manage superior execution of customer plan across multiple geographies through effective communication, coordination, and leadership.

Build strong customer relationships with retailers and provide thought leadership on industry/category dynamics and execution.

Develop and sell in‑customer plan that exceeds volume and profit objectives.

Analyze, segment, and develop target account lists; own implementation of strategy within assigned national accounts.

Conduct regular in‑market work to evaluate plan effectiveness and identify opportunities that enable us to become the first choice for customers and consumers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ years of progressive experience in sales and account management.

Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the market or territory, including occasional meetings, trainings, and events outside the assigned territory.

Strong project execution skills with a focus on business priorities.

Capability to build relationships and collaborate to achieve desired outcomes.

Pay and Benefits Salary Range: $109,100 – $143,200 per year.

Additional compensation includes a 20 % target short‑term incentive and an average of $23,000 spent on benefits per employee, covering health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness incentives, and paid time off.
