The
Sales Support Specialist
assists in the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales team. It involves a mix of administrative, operational, and analytical responsibilities to ensure smooth execution of sales processes from initial quoting to contract closeout. The position requires strong coordination across teams, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems and tools. Primary Responsibilities
Gather required information for quote preparation. Develop quotes, system designs, production estimates and financial models for OSA’s. Maintain thorough records of all interactions with OSA’s within Salesforce. Close new contracts and provide executed contract documents to supervisor for review and approval. Facilitate client’s application process with financial partners. Create/run Salesforce reports or dashboards Update and make improvements to quote generator tools. Coordinate with manufacturers for training and sales material requests. Keeping Sales documents printed and available. Maintenance & upkeep of all sales-related processes. Secondary Responsibilities
Develop and send quotes for service contracts Assist with billing and invoicing through QuickBooks and Salesforce. Coordinate project permitting and design approvals. Update database with relevant permitting/utility activity Manage the closeout process; ensure customer files are closed out when projects are completed. Coordinate with the appropriate person to ensure necessary pre-design information is obtained and provide a last check for all approval documents prior to submitting. Support in the training of new Outside Sales, Sales Development Representatives, Service Coordinators, or Contract Admin positions. Update team scorecard and agenda, weekly. Assist with phones/filling appointment schedules for sales or service when needed. Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a High School diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Past sales experience, preferably technical sales. Other: Candidate must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Salesforce experience (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent reading comprehension skills are required. Strong computer skills are required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products. Excellent organizational skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and the ability to work within time constraints are required. Must be able to work effectively, patiently and pleasantly with other staff, customers and the general public. A well-spoken, confident, articulate and genuine personality that will represent AS&R professionally and proudly is required. Physical Qualifications
Long stretches of time sitting down and using a computer. Extended periods of time reading a computer screen.
