Job Summary The Department of Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality provides the campus community and guests with high-quality, efficient, and innovative event services and dining options across a variety of settings. This position is an integral part of our dining operations staff, working under experienced culinary professionals in newly renovated facilities. The role assists the restaurant manager and assistant manager with all aspects of food production, sanitation, customer service, and cash handling at our retail venues, such as Airport Lounge, Business Bistro, The Landing, Starbucks, McAlister’s Deli, Milner Café, Qdoba, Star Ginger, Timbers, and University High School Store.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate $16.66 per hour

Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Candidate must complete a post‑offer pre‑employment physical exam; employment is contingent on a positive result

Preferred Qualifications One year of food service experience Knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, and equipment Reading and writing ability Ability to perform related duties as assigned Follow oral and written instructions independently Apply common sense to detailed instructions Good communication skills Good customer service skills

Work Hours Full‑time position; hours and days off will be subject to bid. This is not a student worker position.
