As the Senior Small Business Analyst & Liaison Officer for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, you will be the strategic catalyst that drives the company’s small business performance agenda. You will lead and execute high‑visibility projects—ranging from training, speaking engagements, and demand forecasting to audit preparation and digital tool enhancements—while serving as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external small business partners. In addition, you will shape policy, provide expert NAICS and compliance guidance, mentor emerging vendors, and translate data‑driven insights into actionable recommendations that expand our qualified supplier base and increase SB share across the enterprise. What You’ll Do
Lead and execute high‑visibility projects—ranging from training, speaking engagements, and demand forecasting to audit preparation and digital tool enhancements. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external small business partners. Shape policy, provide expert NAICS and compliance guidance, mentor emerging vendors, and translate data‑driven insights into actionable recommendations that expand the qualified supplier base and increase SB share across the enterprise. Basic Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or a related procurement environment. Proven analytical skills—comfortable with large data sets, Excel/VBA, and visualization tools such as Tableau. Audit experience supporting DCMA, DCAA, or other audit environments. Prior experience leading teams and/or projects. Desired Skills
Direct experience with SBA set‑aside programs, FAR/DFARS, or other government contracting regulations. Experience with SAPS/4HANA, EDE, or similar ERP systems. Prior experience delivering training or facilitating workshops for supply‑chain teams. Existing security clearance (desired but not required). Negotiations or contracts experience, any work in focus groups, networking and conferences is also a plus. Strong written and verbal communication abilities—able to explain complex rules in plain language. Self‑starter with a growth mindset; can juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high‑pace environment. Clearance Level
