BACK-TAX TERMINAL LLC
Looking for an experienced tax preparer for a seasonal position, to team up with a very successful tax office for the 2026 calendar year (2025 tax season)!!
Minimum of 2 years of previous tax preparation experience preferred. Also, previous knowledge of OLT Tax Software preferred, but not mandatory. * This position is a 1099 commission split position.* More experienced preparers can make $15K-$20K per month easily.
Note - This position is commission only and compensation is derived from percentage payments from each tax prep fee of each e-filed return completed.
Duties Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns. Interpret financial reports to identify tax implications and opportunities for clients. Manage relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust. Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients. Mentor junior staff members, providing training on tax-related matters and best practices.
Requirements Proven experience in individual and business tax preparation with a focus on tax services. Strong knowledge of financial report interpretation, corporate accounting, and general ledger reconciliation. Solid grasp of financial concepts including debits and credits. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
