Job Description Primary tasks include all aspects of the design process, from initial client consultation through product sourcing, procurement, scheduling deliveries, maintaining client folders, office library, preparing COI’s, and handling building alteration/decorating agreements. Daily tasks involve calendar management, proposal and invoice preparation, gathering vendor estimates, coordinating and scheduling deliveries, and maintaining office files.
As a small interior design office, we need a self‑starter team player who can handle small and large tasks, multitask, work in a fast‑paced environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with limited guidance.
Job Requirements
Must have 1.5 – 3 years experience with an interior design firm.
Highly organized with exposure to both design and construction processes/ work‑streams.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and execute tasks with limited guidance.
Experience with design accounting software such as Studio Webware.
Must be organized, punctual, highly motivated, flexible, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a problem solver.
Must have skills in Auto‑CAD or SketchUp.
Must take ownership of projects from start through installation.
Must be able to create custom work orders for furniture and window‑treatment vendors.
