Paralegal
to join a well‑known law firm in Winston‑Salem, NC. The Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys through clerical, research, and trial preparation tasks, ensuring efficient case management and superior legal services.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss and manage assigned cases or projects.
Draft legal documents, including routine pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; file documents in compliance with court procedures.
Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written summaries and recommendations to attorneys.
Prepare, organize, maintain, and retrieve case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and other related materials.
Track and maintain records of billable hours for assigned cases.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the legal team.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of legal terminology, research methods, court procedures, and civil litigation processes.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a professional and client‑focused demeanor.
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Effective time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to perform in a fast‑paced and occasionally high‑pressure environment.
Commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Education & Experience
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in
Civil Litigation
required.
