JR100123**Join Our Team as a Property Manager at our Brand New Lafayette Community!****What You’ll Do*** Lead all day-to-day operations of a newly constructed affordable housing community* Oversee leasing, compliance, resident relations, and financial performance* Serve as the primary on-site leader for residents, partners, vendors, and internal teams* Build strong, respectful relationships with residents while maintaining firm boundaries and expectations* Coordinate with local agencies and service providers to support resident stability* Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HOME, and voucher program requirements* Manage budgets, rent collection, reporting, and variance tracking* Supervise and support a small on-site team* Maintain the physical and financial health of the community from lease-up through stabilization**What You Bring*** Affordable housing experience, with strong LIHTC knowledge (HUD experience preferred)* Property management experience with operational and financial oversight* Ability to work confidently with vulnerable populations, including homeless or at-risk residents* Strong de-escalation skills, patience, and a resident-service mindset* Experience collaborating with housing authorities, counties, and service agencies* Lease-up experience preferred, but not required* Leadership experience supervising on-site staff* Comfort working independently while staying aligned with regional leadership**Compensation & Benefits*** Salary range: $50,000–$55,000, based on experience* Medical, dental, and vision insurance* 18 days of PTO and 11.5 paid holidays* 401(k) with 6% company match* Paid parental leave* Short- and long-term disability coverage* Lifestyle spending accounts and additional benefits* A mission-driven role with real impact and long-term growth opportunityGorman & Company is an Equal Employment Affirmative Action Employer.If you’re ready to lead a community with purpose, balance compassion with accountability, and help launch something meaningful from the ground up—we’d love to hear from you.
