Mangino Chevrolet is looking to add a Parts Counter Person to our expanding team. The Parts Counter employee relies on their abilities to carry out their duties efficiently and deals with a range of our mechanical and automotive inventory. Along with interacting with clients, the counter-person will also provide product recommendations and close deals. It is essential to have both transferable and technical abilities to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Provide Technicians with the parts they need to finish their job duties
Communicate with customers about the status of their order
Consistent with follow-up with the internal and external customers
Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information
Be able to read and understand the electronic parts catalog
Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers
Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as necessary
Assist in the collection of payments from customers
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year experience with GM Auto Parts Sales
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Have strong organizational and time management skills
CDK experience preferred
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Rotating Saturday
Pay:
$50,000 - $70,000/year dependent on experience
