We are hiring an experienced
Production Manager
to lead daily operations in a
cabinetry and component manufacturing facility . This role focuses on
production scheduling, workflow optimization, CNC operations, and quality control
to ensure on-time delivery and efficient shop performance.
Responsibilities
Plan and schedule production jobs based on customer delivery dates and manufacturing capacity
Oversee daily shop operations, including CNC, assembly, finishing, and installation prep
Review engineering drawings and production orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer specifications
Collaborate with engineering, design, and shop leads to resolve production issues
Conduct regular walk-throughs of all shop stations to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and workflow inefficiencies
Implement process improvements to increase throughput, quality, and on-time completion
Lead production meetings and communicate priorities clearly to team leads and supervisors
Ensure machines are properly maintained and preventive maintenance schedules are followed
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in
cabinetry or component manufacturing
Strong understanding of
cabinet construction methods and materials
Experience in a
CNC-driven production environment
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production documents
Strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
Spanish language skills a must
Basic understanding of
Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD and Cutrite
preferred
Lean and just in time manufacturing experience preferred
