Overview
Using independent judgment, perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing a variety of Radiology equipment in applying prescribed ionizing radiation to patients for diagnosis and treatment. Schedule:
Full Time, Evening Shift, 2:30pm-11:00pm, Rotating Weekends Sign-on Bonus:
$20,000! Qualifications
Licensure/Certification/Registry: Registered radiographer (ARRT-R) in good standing or registry eligible. The maximum allowable time to practice in a “registration pending” status is three months unless specified otherwise by the licensing body. Active radiography license from the IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety is required. Maintain BLS CPR Certification. Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills required. Moderate physical effort. Responsibilities
Perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, and surgical procedures on patients of all ages, following established standards, policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines. Maintain and update technical skills related to imaging factors and emergency patient care. Perform portable radiographic imaging with static and fluoroscopic equipment. Uphold the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards: Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency. Maintain skills in trauma, bariatric, ICU, and neonatal imaging. Provide excellent guest relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. Follow infection control practices as per department manual. Monitor equipment and supplies for safe and efficient operations. Accurately record and transmit patient information. Ensure safety of all patients, visitors, and employees. Participate in on-call duties as assigned. Supervise and instruct Radiography Students. Enhance patient experience using A.I.D.E.T and “Greet and Feet” approaches. Perform other related duties as required.
