Mission Arch Center located in the Roswell, NM area is seeking a Full-time and PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house therapy team. 120 Beds, Skilled Nursing Facility. Situated in the Chihuahuan Desert, Mission Arch Center is at home in the distinct town of Roswell, New Mexico. This skilled nursing facility is an oasis, providing top-tier short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care services. Mission Arch Center’s quality care begins with a dedicated team of trained professionals who are committed to meeting the needs of each resident. One of the unique offerings that sets Mission Arch Center apart is the short term care program. This service is designed for individuals who need concentrated rehabilitation before returning home. It allows patients to recover in a comfortable, home-like setting while still receiving the therapeutic attention they need.
Key Responsibilities
Perform initial physical therapy evaluations and create personalized treatment plans based on patient goals and needs.
Deliver physical therapy services to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve physical function and independence.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and wellness practices.
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Participate in care planning, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or BSPT).
Current New Mexico Physical Therapist license in good standing (or eligible).
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
