Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution
Be the go‑to person for employee relations questions and concerns—supporting employees, managers, and HR partners with clear guidance and practical solutions.
Lead fair, thorough, and confidential workplace investigations related to employee complaints, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations.
Coach and advise managers on performance management, corrective action, and handling tough conversations with empathy and consistency.
Help employees and leaders work through conflicts, offering mediation, training, and tailored solutions that strengthen relationships and teamwork.
Partner with HR leadership to create strategies that build engagement, trust, and a positive workplace culture.
Compliance & Employment Law
Keep us compliant by staying up to date on federal, state, and tribal employment laws—and translating those rules into real‑world HR practices.
Apply company policies and employment laws fairly and consistently to protect both employees and the organization.
Stay on top of new legislation and trends, recommending policy updates when needed.
Support compliance audits, risk reviews, and policy updates to keep our practices sharp and legally sound.
Workplace Investigations & Documentation
Conduct impartial, well‑documented investigations that get to the heart of workplace issues while maintaining confidentiality and respect for everyone involved.
Collect and analyze evidence, interview key parties, and prepare detailed summaries and recommendations for HR leadership.
Maintain organized and compliant documentation for all employee relations matters.
Advise leaders on appropriate next steps, from coaching to corrective action, ensuring consistency across teams.
Training & Policy Development
Design and deliver engaging training on topics such as harassment prevention, diversity & inclusion, conflict resolution, and workplace ethics.
Help keep our policies fresh and relevant by updating employee handbooks, guidelines, and HR procedures to reflect best practices and current laws.
Partner with HR and leadership teams to boost engagement, strengthen culture, and make our workplace even better.
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
An HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or equivalent) preferred
At least 3 years of experience in Employee Relations or HR compliance
A knack for problem‑solving, communication, and keeping cool under pressure
Solid knowledge of employment laws, workplace investigations, and HR best practices
High level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters
Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and case‑management software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in tribal organizations, gaming, healthcare, or hospitality industries preferred.
Certification in workplace investigations, mediation, or employment law compliance is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office environment with occasional travel for training, investigations, or employee meetings.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Must be able to conduct interviews, analyze reports, and provide written recommendations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
