Position Summary We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Ecommerce Manager to oversee the performance, development, and optimization of our e‑commerce websites. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who can balance day‑to‑day operations with long‑term planning and thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the E‑commerce Manager will play a key role in enhancing customer experience, identifying growth opportunities, and building a scalable e‑commerce roadmap.

Position Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations, functionality, and performance of all e‑commerce websites.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, IT, pricing) to ensure seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives.

Develop and execute a strategic e‑commerce roadmap aligned with business goals.

Create and manage the e‑commerce budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Define and track KPIs to measure performance, customer engagement, and ROI.

Analyze site traffic, user behavior, and conversion data to identify opportunities for improvement and provide regular reports and insights.

Lead efforts to improve site usability, product data accuracy, and overall customer experience.

Coordinate with manufacturers and third‑party data providers to maintain high‑quality product content.

Manage relationships with external vendors, platforms, and agencies.

Support SEO/SEM strategies and digital merchandising efforts.

Troubleshoot website issues and oversee platform updates and enhancements.

Provide training and support to internal teams and customers on e‑commerce tools and processes.

Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing ecommerce websites, preferably in the electrical or distribution industry.

Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Hotjar).

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans while managing tactical operations.

Excellent communication, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and e‑commerce best practices and knowledge of GA4 and other analytic tools.

Experience with PIM, DAM, CMS, and other e‑commerce technologies is a plus.
