JOB SUMMARY:
Overall Summary of Function
Reporting to the Senior Human Resource Business Partner, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for full cycle recruiting and helping to attract top talent through strategic initiatives. In addition, this role leads in the support of multiple HR related functions such as orientation, on‑boarding, off‑boarding, benefits administration, performance management, reporting, audits, and special projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist in the design and implementation of strategies for sourcing and acquiring talent to support current and future business needs.
Implement recruitment, staffing, and retention processes that support business objectives.
Collaborate with hiring managers to update and create job descriptions within their respective departments as well as continually assess the effectiveness of recruiting initiatives
Manage an effective and purposeful employee on‑boarding process to include staff orientation and accurate team member integration.
Maintain all staffing reports and perform data analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations.
Provide excellent internal customer service for employee requests, questions and concerns. Function as liaison between employees and management while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Evaluate internal processes and documents needing changes or improvements and communicate potential solutions or revisions.
Maintain current working knowledge of all state, federal, local, and benefits laws as they pertain to the Human Resource function in order to ensure compliance in a timely manner.
Provide full cycle support for all worker’s compensation claims.
Assist in rolling out the annual review process.
Participate in the administration of health plans including enrollments, changes and terminations.
Process required documents through payroll to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
Maintain data in the company’s HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
Assist with correcting time and attendance errors in ADP before each payroll run.
Conduct departmental audits pertaining to employee’s files, benefits, and ADP data when necessary.
Perform other duties and special projects as by the Senior HRBP or leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3-4 years of HR related experience
Minimum 1-2 years of recruiting experience
Experience using an HRIS (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
Ability to interact with all levels of staff, including executives and owners
Excellent computer skills: MS Office Suite with high level of proficiency in Excel and Word
Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently without being micromanaged
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Must have excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
Must display a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and emotional maturity
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
