Cleaning of dishes, flatware, utensils, equipment, floors, walls in the kitchen and dining room areas; assist in the serving and delivery of meals; and assist in simple food preparation.
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully. Key Responsibilities: Ware-washing Washes and dries dishes, pots, pans, trays, carts and other kitchen utensils and equipment. Stores wares in the proper storage areas. Cleans hood filters, refrigerators, stoves, and other appliances. Wipes tables and chairs, desks, and counter tops, etc. Maintains dish machine and pot sink temperature charts. Janitorial Duties Sweeps and mops kitchen, dining room, office, and storeroom areas. Cleans garbage, rubbish and cart washing areas. Scrubs floors in the Dietary Services Unit with the buffing machine. Smashes and places cardboard boxes and other rubbish into dumpsters. Bags mop heads, dishtowels, and rags to be laundered. Disposes of garbage and rubbish in plastic bags. Washes and sanitizes rubbish and garbage containers. Other related duties as assigned May assist in simple food preparation and serving of meals. Assists in receiving, storing, and issuing of supplies. Assists the food service drivers in deliveries of food and supplies to the wards and other areas. Attends meetings and classes as required. May supervise and train patients as part of patient rehabilitation. xmvmafu May perform temporary assignment to high level positions.
Required qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States 18 years or older Preferred qualifications:
At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
