Caltrol is looking for a seasoned Field Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. Consider how your extensive experience in pressure, temperature, and process control instrumentation could translate into real-world problem‑solving across multiple customer sites. This role involves significant travel, often requiring extended periods away from home. Our ideal candidate will bring over five years of expertise in power plant instrumentation and be prepared to use a company vehicle on the road.
Compensation Overview The compensation for this role falls between $35.00 and $40.00 per hour, influenced by location and candidate credentials.
Requirements Your driving license must be valid with an impeccable record. A requirement is passing pre‑employment drug screening, which includes marijuana, followed by unscheduled tests.
Daily Responsibilities
Facilitate installation and maintenance of critical instruments used in industrial operations.
Execute diagnostic evaluations and field repairs.
Develop and suggest customized hardware solutions for system enhancements.
Enable client training and foster service agreements.
Assist in production assemblies when fitting.
