Social Worker (MSW)

A non-profit in NYC is looking for a Social Worker to join their growing team at one of their new locations opening in Queens! The Social Worker assesses mental and emotional functioning of residents and administers services for necessary treatment. She/he provides clinical supervision to the Case Managers, through case analysis, service planning and supervisory process. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm Setting: Transitional Housing Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate clients and families referred by NYC Department of Homeless Services Develop and monitor Individual Living Plans (ILPs) and provide therapeutic support as needed Provide clinical supervision to Case Managers Conduct clinical case conferences with internal and external partners Provide crisis intervention and on-call support as required Complete mental health evaluations upon admission and coordinate psychiatric care and referrals Facilitate groups and maintain a network of social service providers Monitor client records, compliance, safety, and overall well-being Participate in supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and consortium meetings Assist with program reports, evaluations, and quality assurance Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Must have Master's Degree in Social Work Required:

Bilingual in relevant Asian languages/dialects (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Bengali, etc.) Experience in homeless services, supportive housing, or related settings
