Position Description The Staffing Specialist provides support to the department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical office functions.
Essential Functions
Provide administrative support to department managers and directors
Provide guidance and administrative support other clerical members of the team
Perform a wide range tasks using the computer
Maintain files and other records
Send candidates new hire instructional email
Create New Hire Packet
Conduct background checks and I-9 E-Verify
Prepare and send onboarding kits (drug kits, safety vests etc.)
Enter new hire packets into UltiPro
Responsible for tracking and coordination of all paperwork associated with the onboarding of new hires and terminations of field employees
Interface with field employees and client representatives
Assist in development of department procedures, processes and systems focused on onboarding, compliance, offboarding, and other staffing areas.
Provide input to streamlining efforts to effectively and efficiently process employee documentation for staffing and compliance needs
Requirements Qualifications
2-5 years’ work experience as an administrative assistant in a corporate work environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Detail oriented
Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Prior experience utilizing copier, fax, and other office machines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Education
High school diploma

Work Environment/Physical Demands
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials.
