This is an on‑site role based in one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Oviedo. Oviedo is a beautiful city filled with commissioned artwork, historic buildings, and one of the best school districts in the state. About the Role As a

Leasing Specialist , you are the first person potential residents meet. Your job is more than just leasing – it’s about creating a welcoming experience and building a lasting relationship with each resident. You will follow up on leads, close lease agreements, and ensure every prospective resident feels that your community is truly their home.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Provide exceptional and consistent customer service to residents and prospects.

Lease apartment homes by building relationships and showcasing the benefits of living at a Collier Companies community.

Always be closing—over the phone, through email, and in person—while being the subject expert on the property and local neighborhood.

Generate leads through effective phone and email follow‑up.

Create and implement promotional programs, including online advertising, direct marketing, social media outreach, and resident events.

Renew current resident leases to help maintain desired occupancy levels.

Maintain accurate resident files.

Work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

1–2 years of leasing and/or customer service experience in retail, hospitality, housing, or a multi‑family environment.

College education preferred.

Strong sales orientation with a desire to exceed leasing requirements.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Customer‑focused mentality.

Proficiency with various software, apps, and computer programs.

Professional appearance and career mindset.

Ability to multi‑task and shift priorities quickly in a fast‑paced leasing office.
