Retail Roles & Responsibilities
As a Perishable Representative, you will keep a well‑stocked and well‑maintained department while delivering superior customer service. Your daily tasks include preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products, maintaining department and food safety/sanitation standards, and meeting daily sales goals through suggestive selling techniques. Provide superior customer service, take orders, and answer product questions. Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product (slices, labels, rotation). Scan items on Telxon, assist with technical areas as needed. Market products effectively, make announcements, and use suggestive selling. Maintain cleanliness, sanitize display cases, operate equipment safely, and follow SOPs. Department‑Specific Responsibilities
Aguas
Peel, cut, and chop fresh fruits and vegetables. Prepare specialty drinks and food products specific to the Aguas department. Floral
Design and create floral arrangements, ensuring product quality. Execute merchandising programs and track seasonal records. Market
Cut, trim, and prepare meat for service counters. Ensure proper product rotation and storage in coolers and freezers. Weigh, price, and package selections; operate meat prep equipment. Produce
Stock and rotate produce to maintain freshness. Assist floral department as needed. Explain product knowledge, provide samples, and price produce. Maintain signing program. Seafood
Maintain knowledge of fish and shellfish. Weigh, price, and package selections. Maintain coolers and freezers. Physical Demands
