Job Overview
The primary function of this employee is to manage the daily recreation and programming operations of the assigned park. Under occasional supervision, this employee develops, coordinates, and implements programs, activities and events to meet the recreation and leisure needs of the community. Performs related administrative and professional work as required. Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in parks, recreation and tourism, leisure services or a related field supplemented by one to two years of responsible experience in parks and recreation programming or childcare, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must possess a valid state driver's license. Minimum Requirements
Communication skills Grant writing experience Basic carpentry and other trades skills
